Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel and enjoyed the elegant and quiet rooms, but accessing them up a private set of stairs was a bit challenging. The service was generally helpful and friendly, though there were moments when it felt a bit distant. The location in the historic Santos District of Lisbon was fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat but with easy access to the city center. Dining options were abundant and varied, and the breakfast, while some found it overpriced, offered a wide selection. The facilities were well-maintained with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
I must say this hotel surprised me in many ways. The rooms are individual and full of character, offering wonderful views across the Tagus. They are clean and fully equipped, which is a big plus. However, I must warn you that they can be noisy even at night, so light sleepers might find it a bit bothersome. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. I particularly appreciated the fact that they had pre-prepared the Xmas buffet, adding a festive touch to my stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a lovely garden view, but it can get noisy due to the nearby bar/music venue until early morning. The service was a mixed experience ranging from unpleasant smoking at the entrance to accommodating staff who assisted with various needs. The location is convenient, not overrun by tourists, with easy access to public transportation. Overall, a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were invaded by ants, which was quite unsettling, but they were comfortable overall. The creaky floorboards added a spooky element to the stay, yet the room managed to maintain a modern and cozy feel despite being in a historic convent.
